Professional Bio
Eve Bowers, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Center. Dr. Bowers received her bachelor's degree from Duke University and her medical degree from Emory University in Atlanta. After completing her internal medicine residency at Baylor School of Medicine, she remained in Houston to join a large, private, multi-specialty physician group. There, she spent seven years as a primary care physician, including call for inpatient admissions and being a clinical instructor for internal medicine residents at Baylor. She then relocated to Fort Myers, Florida where she practiced outpatient medicine for a federally qualified healthcare center (FQHC) that supported the uninsured and under-insured community. Dr. Bowers brings to Vanderbilt her extensive experience working in a variety of healthcare settings, in various clinical roles, and with diverse patient populations.
