Cardiovascular Fellows

Our mission is to train outstanding physicians and physician-scientists with a solid tripartite foundation in clinical care, teaching, and research in order to become leaders in the expanding global academic cardiovascular medicine community.  Once you have completed your training in Internal Medicine, our program will provide a curricula tailored to your needs and goals in accordance with ACGME established guidelines in order to become board-eligible in adult cardiovascular medicine.

Our fellows are exposed to a broad-range of pathologies in a variety of clinical settings at three hospitals—Vanderbilt University Hospital, Nashville Veterans Affairs Medical Center, and Nashville General-Meharry Hospital. Advanced fellowships are available in Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, Interventional Cardiology, Advanced Heart Failure and Transplantation, Cardio-Oncology, Vascular Medicine, Advanced Cardiac Imaging, and Adult Congenital Heart Disease.
