Brief Bio
Terri began her Vanderbilt career in January 2002 with the Brain Institute, transitioned to the Diabetes Center in October 2007, and in July 2018, joined the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine. Terri has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations/Political Science with minors in German, English, and History. She attended the Gymnasium der Stadt Voerde (in the then West Germany) during the 1984-85 school year. She had 3 years of Army R.O.T.C. training (Marksmanship level at the shooting range) and was on the female Army R.O.T.C. drill team. She served 8 years as a volunteer firefighter and was a state-certified first responder. Over the past 20+ years, she held many government positions (at the city, county, and state levels); both appointed and elected.
