Vanderbilt Inpatient Geriatrics Consult Service
This Consult service is an attending-and fellow-staffed service that is available 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. They are happy to see any patients 65 years and above with a geriatric syndrome or geriatrics-related question.
If you think your patient may qualify for a geriatric consult but aren’t sure, please page them to evaluate. The pager is 615-831-4002 and listed in Synergy as Geriatrics Inpatient Consult.

Brief Bio
Terri began her Vanderbilt career in January 2002 with the Brain Institute, transitioned to the Diabetes Center in October 2007, and in July 2018, joined the Department of Medicine, Division of Geriatric Medicine. Terri has a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations/Political Science with minors in German, English, and History. She attended the Gymnasium der Stadt Voerde (in the then West Germany) during the 1984-85 school year. She had 3 years of Army R.O.T.C. training (Marksmanship level at the shooting range) and was on the female Army R.O.T.C. drill team. She served 8 years as a volunteer fireman and was a state-certified first responder. Over the past 20+ years, she held many government positions (at the city, county, and state levels); both appointed and elected.
