GHN Research Programs
The GI Division has a major commitment to laboratory research. Five faculty members lead independent laboratories. Two of these have joint appointments in the Department of Cell Biology and another is closely affiliated with the Center in Molecular Toxicology. There are a number of trainees of various types in the labs. The Division has core facilities for tissue culture, centrifugation, scintillation counting, cold work, and darkroom work. Most of the research is molecular or cellular.
