Med-Peds Curriculum
Our med-peds curriculum is a well-designed 4 year experience blending inpatient and outpatient experiences in internal medicine and in pediatrics. As you would expect, we are dependent on the richness and depth of our two parent departments, but we also focus on many aspects that are unique to the combined med-peds resident's training. Some of this has to do with the timing or duration of each experience; some has to do with blending a combined rotation or combining all ages for a med-peds continuity clinic experience. Below we would like to walk you through our four year curriculum in the inpatient and outpatient settings, our conferences and didactics sessions, our combined continuity clinic, and other aspects that are uniquely med-peds.
