The Division of Infectious Diseases at Vanderbilt University Medical Center seeks talented Infectious Disease physicians to join the full-time faculty at the level of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, on a clinical, academic, or research track.

VUMC Hospital Epidemiologist/ASP Clinician Educators

The Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) Division of Infectious Diseases is now accepting applications for clinician-educator positions. The selected applicants will be appointed on the Vanderbilt University School of Medicine clinician-educator track at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level, commensurate with experience. The VUMC Division of Infectious Diseases is dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care and enhancing prevention and treatment of infectious diseases through discovery and application of new knowledge that is seamlessly integrated with mentoring trainees to become the next generation of national leaders in the field. 

The selected applicant will lead Hospital Epidemiology/Infection Prevention and/or Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs at VUMC-affiliated locations in Middle Tennessee. They will attend on the infectious diseases consult services at one or more affiliated locations, provide outpatient general infectious diseases care, and perform inpatient tele-ID consults for designated partner hospitals. The selected faculty member will participate in Hospital Epidemiology/Infection Prevention and Antimicrobial Stewardship academic activities with the division’s Healthcare Epi/Antimicrobial Stewardship Research Group.
