Research Description

Our lab is interested in the immunologic and molecular mechanisms underlying atherosclerotic and cardiometabolic disease. In particular, we are interested in the reasons that the chronic inflammation underlying these diseases fails to resolve. We focus primarily on the functions of macrophages and T lymphocytes as well as the crosstalk between these two cell types.
