Clinical Interest

Dr. Wahba’s clinical interests include understanding the pathophysiology, diagnosis and treatment of Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome, Autonomic failure, Baroreflex failure and other autonomic diseases. His research interests include investigating the cardio-metabolic effects of sympathetic vasoconstriction on insulin-mediated microvascular recruitment in obese individuals; measuring aortic stiffness risk markers in autonomic failure patients and determining effect of different treatment modalities on them.
