Andrea Davis, MD
VA Ambulatory Chief Resident
Andrea grew up in the small town of Longmeadow, MA where she played volleyball and ran track. She then majored in psychology with a concentration in public health policy at the College of the Holy Cross while also playing Division I volleyball. In her senior year, Andrea decided to pursue a career in medicine as opposed to one in law (despite having taken the LSAT!), and as such she matriculated into the Johns Hopkins post-bac pre-med program. She then attended medical school at the University of Pennsylvania and continued her studies in health policy and community health as well as developed an interest in caring for critically ill patients and their families. She could not be happier about pursuing this phase of her career at Vanderbilt. Her colleagues, patients, and the city of Nashville have stolen her heart. Not to mention, in her free time, Andrea enjoys checking out the Nashville restaurant scene, breweries, running paths, and parks!
