Clinical Interest

Dr. Munjal's research interests include factors affecting adenoma detection rate, markers of inflammation used to monitor disease activity in IBD and long term complications in patients requiring parenteral nutrition. Her general interests include short bowel syndrome, celiac disease, microscopic colitis and colon cancer. She completed her gastroenterology fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and was elected as chief fellow during her last year of training. She is pursuing a Masters in Nutrition this fall to further her ability to care for patient with complex nutritional disorders.
