Babatunde Carew, MD

Babatunde was born and raised in Miami, Florida. Growing up, his hobbies included playing the bass guitar and cooking with his family. He obtained his bachelor’s degree from Florida State University where he majored in biology before attending medical school at the University of Florida. Despite this apparent betrayal, he remains loyal to the Seminoles on the football field. Outside of medicine he enjoys trying new foods, attending concerts, and spending time with friends. He’s really made the most of Nashville by exploring the food scene and likely has restaurant recommendations on the ready at any given time. He has very much enjoyed being part of the Vanderbilt family!
