Professional Bio
Hyun Deok Song, PhD, is a Research Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Dr. Song’s research focuses on simulation studies of biomolecules, the calculation of the free energy of biomolecules, graph theory, protein-ligand interactions, coarse-grained simulations, homology modeling and docking, protein folding.Dr. Song earned his PhD from the University of Cincinnati, and completed six additional years of postdoctoral training at Vanderbilt University.
