Professional Bio

Jennifer (Poole) Blazier, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.

Dr. Blazier completed college at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a BS in psychology and a minor in chemistry. She went on to receive her MD from the University of Tennessee Health Sciences Center in Memphis. She completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Colorado in Denver. Her research efforts in Denver included a poster presentation and publication to the American Thoracic Society. She was also awarded the Resident Development Scholarship by the American Thoracic Society for her research involvement.

Currently, Dr. Blazier's interests include risk management and patient safety.
