Jessie Barton Lawrence, DO, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She completed her training in family medicine at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia, and began her career at Cape Fear Valley Health in outpatient medicine. Dr. Lawrence later accepted the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor in the Department of Family Medicine at Campbell University. She has a special interest in management of chronic disease including diabetes and hypertension. Dr. Lawrence practices outpatient primary care at Vanderbilt's Pleasant View location.
