Professional Bio
John (Tommy) Pendy, MD, is an internal medicine specialist in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Following his undergraduate degree in biomedical engineering from the University of Michigan, Dr. Pendy spent a gap year doing clinical research at the National Institutes of Health before beginning medical school at Wayne State University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt immediately prior to joining faculty in 2022.
