Professional Bio

Kevin Hageman, DO, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center and is now a full-time hospitalist within the clinical practice track.

He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of South Florida in Tampa. He then earned his medical degree at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and then completed his internal medicine residency at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.

Dr. Hageman has experience in both basic science (vascular endothelial nitric oxide production) and translational research (risk factors for acute kidney injury after cardiac surgery). He has broad clinical interests in hematology, acute nephrology, palliative medicine, and medical education.
