As a medical resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Dr. Kevin Byram received the Rheumatology Research Foundation Medical and Pediatric Resident Research Award from the Rheumatology Research Foundation. Dr. Byram completed his rheumatology fellowship at Vanderbilt where he served on the American College of Rheumatology’s Fellows-In-Training Subcommittee and Annual Meeting Planning Committee. Dr. Byram has clinical and research interests in vasculitis and related diseases. Dr. Byram completed a vasculitis fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Center for Vasculitis Care and Research funded by the Vasculitis Foundation and Vasculitis Clinical Research Consortium. He returned to establish the Vanderbilt Vasculitis Clinic with the mission of optimizing care for patients with vasculitis. Dr. Byram’s research interests include identifying unique microRNA expression patterns in patients with ANCA-associated vasculitis as well as leveraging the electronic health record to systematically study outcomes in patients with vasculitis.
