Dr. Bischoff practices endocrinology and is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Endocrinology, Diabetes, & Metabolism. She has a particular interest in the diagnosis and treatment of thyroid nodules, thyroid cancer, and thyroid dysfunction. She is the medical director of the Vanderbilt Thyroid Center, active member of the American Thyroid Association, and is on the thyroid cancer guidelines committee of the National Comprehensive Cancer Network. Dr. Bischoff completed her residency in internal medicine and an endocrine fellowship at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Before joining the Vanderbilt University Medical Center, she was an active member of the teaching faculty as an Assistant Professor at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University.
