Melissa C. Lehmann, MPAS, is an Assistant in Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She received her master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies from DeSales University in Center Valley, Pennsylvania, and began her career as a PA-C doing orthopedic trauma surgery. In 2012 she left orthopedics for a career in critical care medicine for the general and trauma surgery service at LeHigh Valley Health Network in Allentown, Pennsylvania. In 2017 she made a career shift to internal medicine at Vanderbilt.
