Professional Bio
Michael Chin, MD, joined Vanderbilt University Medical Center from Harvard University. He graduated in 2018 from the Harvard Occupational and Environmental Medicine Residency and is an alumnus of the Tufts University School of Medicine. Before entering occupational medicine, he had conducted years of extensive research in wound healing and radiation exposure at the University of Massachusetts Medical School.
Dr. Chin's basic science and clinical investigations in radiation led to a serendipitous interest in public health and occupational medicine. In addition to taking care of Vanderbilt faculty, staff, and employees, he looks forward to pursuing his interests in preventing burnout, optimizing work performance, and building stress resiliency.
