Professional Bio
Sean Huang, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed an internal medicine residency at University of Illinois in Chicago and a geriatric medicine fellowship at Rush University Medical Center. Prior to joining Vanderbilt 2022, he spent two years in a Clinical Informatics fellowship at University of Illinois. During this time, he continued to practice medicine, but also spent time in operational and research roles in the fields of informatics and health data science. He is interested in using technology to solve clinical problems. He is currently working toward a Masters of Data Science at University of California, Berkeley, with an expected completion date in 2023.
