Steven Allon, MD

Steven Allon, MD, recently joined the Vanderbilt University Medical Center as faculty in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health. He grew up in Birmingham, Ala., and completed medical school and internal medicine residency at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he served as a Chief Medical Resident.

Dr. Allon is a clinican-educator with a clinical focus on primary care, advance care planning and substance use disorders. His primary research interest is the optimal delivery of evidence-based medicine curricula in undergraduate and graduate medical education.
