I hail from a country in Central Africa called Cameroon, where most of my formative years were spent and where my interest in medicine was borne. I moved to the U.S. in 2008 to follow that passion which started out as a Chemistry major at Georgia College in Milledgeville. I took a gap year to work in education serving high school dropouts and non-traditional students where my passion for teaching was confirmed. I then proceed to complete my medical education at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. I moved to Nashville to undertake a residency in Internal Medicine at Vanderbilt. I decided to stay at V.U.M.C. to embark on a Fellowship in Geriatrics to equip me with tools and knowledge to fulfill my career goals as a future cardiologist and geriatrician. I have a passion for patient care and education, and I hope to someday run a preventive Cardiology practice while providing expertise in the care of the elder. At my leisure, I enjoy dancing, playing soccer, volleyball, and tennis (Federer fan). I occasionally binge-watch Sci-fi T.V. shows and more recently I have taken to reading Sci-fi novels such as the BattleMage (must read) and Raven’s shadow.
