Allie is from northern Ohio and spent her childhood enjoying growing up on the shores of Lake Erie and riding roller coasters at a nearby amusement park, Cedar Point. She went to The Ohio State University for her undergraduate degree in Biomedical Science, and she is still a huge college football fan. After college, she moved to St. Louis to pursue medical school at Washington University, and she has enjoyed going on road trips with her friends and exploring St. Louis’ many coffee shops and restaurants. Professionally, Allie is interested in a career in hematology/oncology, and her research background is in GI cancers. In her free time, Allie enjoys baking, working out at the gym, and exploring new places. She is excited to experience Nashville and meet everyone at Vanderbilt!
