Professional Bio
Bethany Scanlan, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Additionally, she serves as Course Director for the Hospital Medicine Elective rotation.
Dr. Scanlan received her BS in chemical engineering from the University of Notre Dame and her MD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Vanderbilt. Her academic interests include hospital medicine and medical education.
