Braden grew up outside of Portland, Oregon and attended Oregon State University (Go Beavs!). After receiving his undergraduate degree in Biology, Braden spent time as a CNA prior to moving to Providence, Rhode Island to attend medical school at Brown University. Throughout his life, Braden has had a passion for teaching and education, and he is excited to continue teaching and mentoring during residency. In his free time, Braden enjoys college baseball (niche), pickleball (fortunately no longer niche), and spending time with his wife, Kaelee, and his family. He is excited to join the Vanderbilt family and explore Nashville!
