Professional Bio
Brian Grieb, MD, PhD, is an Instructor in Medicine, and a physician-scientist in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University medical Center.
Dr. Grieb graduated from Centre College in his home state of Kentucky and later earned an MD and a PhD in cancer biology as a member of the Medical Scientist Training Program at Vanderbilt University. He completed his medical training in Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where he also served as a chief resident. He is an active medical oncologist with a special interest in gastrointestinal malignancies.
Dr. Grieb's research seeks to improve the care of cancer patients through the development of new anti-cancer drugs as well as optimization of cancer treatments with discovery of novel biomarkers and drug-drug combinations.
