Professional Bio
Christy C. Sparkman, MSN, APRN-BC, is an Assistant in Medicine in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She is a board certified nurse practitioner with a focus on the geriatric population. Prior to her career as a nurse practitioner, Christy worked with patients with respiratory diseases as a registered respiratory therapist and later as a respiratory disease consultant. Sparkman works in two divisions, Allergy and Immunology, managing patients with asthma, COPD, and a wide array of allergic disorders, and in Rheumatology, working with patients with metabolic bone diseases.
