Professional Bio
Eli Cohen, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Dr. Cohen attended college in New York City where he studied comparative religions and psychology. He completed medical school in Puerto Rico before completing his internal medicine residency at Vanderbilt. His research interests have included epilepsy and other neurocognitive disorders, and healthcare disparities within medicine. He attends clinically on inpatient adult medicine services.
