Professional Bio
Elizabeth Maxwell, MD, is a family medicine specialist in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She earned her medical degree from Universidad Central del Este in the Dominican Republic, and completed her residency in family medicine at New York’s Albert Einstein College of Medicine at Bronx-Lebanon, where she served as Chief Resident. Dr. Maxwell has been a member of the American Academy of Family Practice since 2004, and board certified with the American Academy of Family Practice since 2005. She enjoys caring for the entire family, and her primary objective is to deliver compassionate, quality care with a focus on a healthy state of mind, diet, and exercise, and, when necessary, parallel with medications.
