During his PhD program, he spent one year abroad at VUMC as part of a sandwich program and was hosted by the TB Center.
His recent work on isoniazid levels according to glycated hemoglobin has been accepted for presentation at the upcoming CROI 2025, where he also received a New Investigator Scholarship to attend the conference.
