Professional Bio
Ganiat Adeogun, MD, is a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Rheumatology and Immunology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
Originally from Nigeria, she grew up in Lagos, the economic nerve center of West Africa. The youngest of four children, she is the only doctor in her family. After completing her primary and secondary education in Nigeria, she attended Gulf Medical College in the United Arab Emirates before proceeding to Morehouse School of Medicine where she graduated from the Internal Medicine Residency Program.
Dr. Adeogun worked at Morehouse Healthcare as a primary care physician, promoting healthcare equity and caring for the underserved population in Georgia until moving to Nashville to pursue her aspiration of becoming a seasoned Geriatric Rheumatologist. Her goal is to provide the highest level of care to patients as she also investigates innovative ways of diagnosing and treating their rheumatic diseases.
