Professional Bio
Harrison M. Luttrell, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine within the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is an internal medicine and pediatric hospitalist who practices clinically at Vanderbilt University Hospital and The Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt.
Dr. Luttrell received his bachelor's degree in Health Science from Clemson University in 2014 then earned his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina in 2018. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and Pediatrics at Indiana University where he served as chief resident during his fourth year. This was followed by a fellowship in Pediatric Hospital Medicine at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center and LeBonheur Children's Hospital in Memphis.
Dr. Luttrell is interested in medical education and enjoys working with learners of all levels of training. He is particularly interested in helping combined med-peds residents navigate the complex medical training environment to achieve their career goals.
