Professional Bio
Jacob Franco, MD, MSACI, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is Assistant Director, Informatics, for the division's Section of Hospital Medicine.
He received his BS in Computational Biology from Brown University. After college, he went to Stony Brook Medical School and developed interest in internal medicine. He completed his residency at Vanderbilt and joined the Hospitalist staff after. He obtained a masters in applied clinical informatics and assists the division for complex informatic challenges.
