Professional Bio
James Mosley, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He graduated from Mt. Vernon Nazarene University, Mt. Vernon, Ohio, with a degree in biology. He worked in the Ohio State University Toxicology Laboratory and soon began medical school at the Ohio State University in 1981. After receiving his MD, Dr. Mosley completed his residency in family medicine at Mt. Carmel Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio. He started a family practice with Northridge Family Practice in Circleville, Ohio. He was a partner there until 2010 when he went to work for Berger Health System as an employed physician. Dr. Mosley then relocated to Nashville in 2015 and joined the Vanderbilt team, working at the walk-in clinics.
