Professional Bio
Jennifer Cihlar, DO, is an infectious disease specialist in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC). Her research and clinical interests include general infectious diseases, infection prevention, and healthcare epidemiology. Following completion of her undergraduate training in biology at the University of Notre Dame, she earned her medical degree at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her Internal Medicine residency at the University of Cincinnati, and subsequently completed an Infectious Diseases fellowship at VUMC. She joining faculty at Vanderbilt in 2022, and is board certified in internal medicine.
