Professional Bio
John Fonge, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) where he serves as a Medicine-Pediatrics (Med-Peds) hospitalist.
He received his Bachelor of Engineering in biomedical engineering from Vanderbilt University and earned his medical degree at Ross University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Med-Peds at the University of Illinois College of Medicine at Peoria.
He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics, and holds a secondary appointment in VUMC's Department of Pediatrics Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine.
