Justin Hofmann
Professional Bio
Justin Hofmann, MD, is a Transplant Infectious Diseases fellow in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He graduated medical school and completed Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency at the New Jersey Medical School in Newark, New Jersey. He completed a combined adult and pediatric Infectious Diseases Fellowship at The Ohio State University Medical Center and Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. During his adult ID training, he completed an immunocompromised host training track. His clinical and research interests include C. difficile colitis in adult and pediatric hematopoietic stem cell transplant recipients, and other infections affecting the transition from pediatric to adult care (cystic fibrosis, inflammatory bowel disease, primary immunodeficiency, hematopoietic malignancy, hematopoietic cell and organ transplantation, etc.).
