Professional Bio
K. Louise Hanson, MD, is an Associate Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She completed her undergraduate education at Cornell University and her medical degree at Vanderbilt University. After an Internal Medicine residency at Vanderbilt, she served an additional year as the Hugh J. Morgan chief resident.
Dr. Hanson is a practicing internist at the Vanderbilt Student Health Center and has been there since 1998. Her main clinical interests include LGBTQI healthcare, asthma and allergies, hypertension, adult survivors of childhood cancer, and the primary care of chronically ill young and middle-aged adults.
