Professional Bio
Kevin Dee, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases within the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After completing medical school at the University of Iowa, he trained at Vanderbilt for both internal medicine residency and infectious diseases fellowship. He received an additional year of training at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center as a fellow in transplant infectious diseases. Dr. Dee has extensive clinical experience in the treatment and prevention of infections in patients who have received a solid organ transplant or are immunosuppressed secondary to hematologic malignancy/hematopoietic cell transplant. His clinical research interests include vaccination approaches in immunocompromised patients as well as treatment of multidrug resistant organisms in organ transplant recipients. He also serves as the director of the Transplant ID and Immunocompromised Host Fellowship.
