Madison Bandler
Interests

Madison was born during a string of tornados that hit her hometown of Decatur, Illinois (more famously known as the soybean capital of the world). She got her first horse when she was four years old and spent much of her youth traveling the country for equestrian competitions. Following in her older brother’s footsteps, she attended undergrad at Ole Miss and studied biology, philosophy, Spanish, and chemistry. Her passion for bioethics blossomed during these years, and she developed a particular interest in studying factors that impact health care access and outcomes. While in medical school at SIU she became highly engaged with the medical education department, and she looks forward to a career as a clinician educator. She has a strong interest in rheumatology but remains open to all the subspecialties. Madison loves to travel and is always up for an adventure. She will find any excuse to host a party (preferably themed), she will never turn down karaoke, and she is eager to discuss the latest hit HBO release. She can’t wait to dust off her cowboy boots and take on Nashville!
