Professional Bio
Margaret Coplin, MD, MS, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of Hematology and Oncology, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
She grew up in St. Louis and attended St. Louis University for both undergraduate and medical school, and went to University of Chicago for a master's in nutrition. Later, while in private practice, she completed a two-year fellowship in integrative medicine at the University of Arizona.
Dr. Coplin specialized in breast cancer for 10 years before expanding to general medical oncology through locums. She helped develop the cancer program at Lake regional hospital in Osage Beach, Missouri for five years before moving to Nashville to be closer to her children.
