Professional Bio
Marl Rolfsen, MD, is a Clinical Fellow in the Division of Allergy, Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine in the Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. His research interests include critical care outcomes including neurocognitive and quality of life outcomes.
He chose VUMC for fellowship because he loves clinical work and wants to be extremely well trained both in pulmonary and critical care medicine. He's also passionate and fascinated by the long-term outcomes of critical illness, and how we can improve not just mortality in the ICU but quality of life after the ICU. As an institution, Vanderbilt has the resources and support to achieve these goals.
