Professional Bio
Mary Morgan Lee, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Division of Infectious Diseases, Department of Medicine, at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. Her roots began in Tennessee, completing her Bachelors of Engineering at Vanderbilt University in 2014. She went on to complete her medical degree, internal medicine residency, and infectious diseases fellowship at Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine/Barnes Jewish Hospital. She joined faculty at VUMC in 2024.
Dr. Lee practices general infectious diseases in the inpatient and outpatient setting. Her clinical interests include hospital epidemiology/infection prevention and combatting antimicrobial resistance through the implementation of antimicrobial stewardship practices. She also enjoys medical education writing, with prior contributions including The Washington Manual series.
