Interests
Murray was born and raised in Pretoria and was originally going to pursue a career in professional cricket. He played for the junior national cricket team at u/19 level. A string of serious and often bizarre injuries and subsequent surgeries helped him see the light and change paths to a career in medicine. He no longer plays cricket but is a fan of golf, swimming and watching his national rugby team. Murray is ecstatic to be receiving the chance to begin residency at Vanderbilt and looks forward to trying his best to make use of this amazing opportunity.
