Professional Bio
Pablo Saavedra, MD, is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He completed his medical degree at Case Western Reserve University, Internal Medicine residency at MetroHealth/Case Western, and Chief Residency at Memorial Hospital/Brown University. He then proceeded with Cardiology and Cardiac Electrophysiology Fellowships at Vanderbilt, after which he remained on faculty.
He now practices in Cardiac Electrophysiology with expertise in the management of cardiac arrhythmias, including ablation therapy and pacemaker and defibrillator management. He is also faculty at the Nashville VA Medical Center as a Cardiac Electrophysiologist and as Director of the Arrhythmia Service. Dr. Saavedra contributes to the clinical research effort in arrhythmia at both Vanderbilt and Nashville VA.
