Professional Bio
Peter Liu, MD, is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Medicine in the Division of General Internal Medicine and Public Health at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He is a member of the Vanderbilt Department of Medicine faculty in the Section of Hospital Medicine. Dr. Liu completed a BSE in chemical engineering at Princeton University, research fellowship at the NIH, MD at Duke University, and internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins University. His research has been in the fields of machine learning, medical image processing, signal processing of cardiac tracings, and clinical research in cardiovascular medicine. His interests also include clinical reasoning and point of care ultrasound.
