Professional Bio
Sarah Anderson, MD, is an attending physician in internal medicine specializing in primary care. She is a faculty member in the Department of Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville and sees patients at Vanderbilt Primary Care in Franklin. Dr. Anderson grew up in Kentucky and attended college at the University of Louisville. After graduating college, she earned a master’s degree in journalism from NYU and pursued a career as a speechwriter, policymaker, and senior advisor in government. Upon discovering medicine as her true passion, Dr. Anderson completed the post baccalaureate pre-medical program at Washington University in St. Louis, medical school at the University of Louisville, and completed medical residency at Kaiser Permanente in Northern California.
