Shubham Tomar
Professional Bio
Shubham Tomar, MBBS, MPH, serves as a Research Fellow within the DeFilippis Lab and the Vanderbilt Translational and Clinical Cardiovascular Research Center at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. With a diverse background spanning various healthcare settings across India, Dr. Tomar brings a wealth of experience to his role. From rural communities to tertiary hospitals, his journey in medicine has been characterized by a steadfast commitment to addressing complex health issues. Presently, Dr. Tomar is deeply engaged in investigating the underlying risk factors associated with different subtypes of myocardial infarction, while also exploring the intricate relationship between myocardial injury and cognitive function. Motivated by a global outlook and a collaborative ethos, he is dedicated to integrating healthcare and technology to develop innovative, accessible, and sustainable solutions for combating chronic diseases globally.
